The Bar Council of England and Wales has joined with the other G7 countries to send a letter to political leaders, stating: "At a time when geopolitical tensions are escalating, economic rivalries are intensifying, and technological upheavals are transforming our societies at an unprecedented pace, we, representatives of the G7 Bar associations, wish to reaffirm a conviction that unites us: law is the foremost common good of our democracies."
