3. Temperament, including a commitment to hard work and ability to perform under pressure;
4. Interpersonal Skills, including a capacity to understand and to show understanding of the needs and problems of those for whom and with whom they work;
5. Motivation for a career at the Bar and interest in practising in 1COR’s core areas.
We emphasise that chambers has already taken the business decision to recruit one third six pupil, if the standard of candidates merits it. We have an excellent record of giving tenancies to the third sixers we recruit.
Candidates should expect to hit the ground running. You will be assigned a pupil supervisor who will support and train you to be the best that you can be.
