About your chambers:
KCH Barristers are one of the largest common law sets in the East Midlands with offices in Leicester and Nottingham. We have 3 practice groups (Civil, Family and Crime) divided into 2 teams (the Civil & Family Team and the Criminal Team). There is no requirement to work across teams or disciplines unless that is something you wish to do. Our current head of chambers is Anna Soubry and this summer (2026) chambers was pleased to welcome Phil Bradley KC as a member.

We welcome applications from candidates who wish to work in any of our practice areas. However, chambers is advertising with a view for candidates to join our Civil Team. Our Civil Team members have mixed common law practices that include road traffic accident work, personal injury, credit hire, business and property, housing, employment and more. However, our members also have areas that they individually specialise in.
Chambers is particularly interested in hearing from candidates who can demonstrate experience in road traffic (including credit hire and personal injury), housing and or regulatory work.
About the candidate:
We are looking for candidates who wish to develop a civil practice in the East Midlands.
The 3 month probationary tenancy is with a view to a full tenancy.
