Successful applicants will be joining an established team with an opportunity to build an excellent practice on the Western Circuit. They will have excellent advocacy skills, strong analytical skills and great cross-examination ability. The third six months pupils will benefit from pro-active support and be allocated a member of chambers as a mentor (akin to a supervisor) and work alongside a more junior barrister who will fulfil a similar, but more informal, role.

You will be supported by an excellent and dedicated clerking team, as well as all members of chambers. Third six pupillages are unfunded and the successful candidate will be expected to generate their own income from our caseload.

The probationary tenancy (third six pupillage) will last for up to 6 months, with an option after 4 months to assess progress. Successful applicants can expect to be busy and in court regularly. Supported by efficient and professional staff, this is a great opportunity to further develop your career within 3PB's friendly, collegiate environment.
